The outdoor-felines are now trained to come up for breakfast and dinner, and water anytime. The feral cat who also lives in my complex has finally made huge steps trusting me, and has been coming up to eat as well, but will not do this when I’m up there. I have seen him up there with the rest of the cats though, so this is more of an ‘undomesticated’ issue than anything. He was malnourished, and it was breaking my heart due to the nearly ‘possessed’ condition of the feline. This cat was unapproachable. Now he shows up on time for breakfast and dinner, and the little kitty family has accepted him as one of their own.
The hardest part of caring for stray and feral cats is loving ALL of them, not just one. While this is a global issue and very hard to feed and care for all of them – God takes care of them. I believe it is willing hands touched by HIM who do the work of caring for the kitties. Inside of me is a dark place that is very greedy and runs from responsibility. Taking on this new adventurous task of caring for multiple cats….. is changing me in a way that is making me a better person.
I don’t know which I enjoy the most, breakfast time or dinner time. More on that one if I happen to get a video of them when I come through the gate to the apartment complex when I get home from work.

Walking out my door in the evening….
Simple modification to my original idea and whalla! Cats up to 3.5 months will love this one, and it’s furniture-friendly with a simple mod to the base. Save furniture, cats busy for hours each day. GOOD TIMES!
This is the new ‘custom keyboard’ I just installed. 馃檪

Recent photos & videos of my feline friends:

Sitting underneath the window in my bedroom, these two nearly always gravitate towards each other. So gentle….

This is my special friend. Absolutely the most loveable animal I have ever met. Full domesticated, potty-trained, and full of life. The eyes kill me.

This is “The Crew” 馃檪 Fresh from a nap in the window in my bedroom. I built a little ‘Magic Mountain’ park for them so they could circle the room hopping over this and sifting through mazes. They loved it. I stopped waking up by alarm due to these wonderful animals.
This is around 7 days ago. Today is 7/12/25. Now these cats are outdoors, in 100 F heat. They have a safe haven underneath my neighbor’s house. Crawl space is theirs now. I built a home for them near where they hide from the heat. Fully equipped with food and water. In addition, I have added 3 more stray/feral cats to my feeding – they are on the other side of the apartment complex. I can’t afford this, but I’m doing it. Top Ramen tonight folks. Purring kitties though….. and a proud mama kitty.
